  • Melanie Vincent

    Melanie Vincent

    BOARD PRESIDENT

Melanie grew up in Carson City, Nevada with very supportive parents who encouraged community involvement. At a young age, she was selected to help start a student to student mentoring program at her high school for conflict resolution.  She later went to college at UNR and volunteered her time to mentor grade school girls all the way up to high school.  From group meetings to one on one meetings, she continued to be a support system for them.  She also went on mission trips with young adults as a leader, summer camps and helped organized events for young adults.

Melanie moved to Redding in 2004 and owns Melanie Vincent Farmers Insurance. Together with her husband John, they are involved with many community charities focused on helping young people and veterans programs. She was inspired to join the Girls Inc. NSV board after witnessing the positive impact that the foundation has on so many young ladies in the North State.

  • Stacy Pohlmeyer

    BOARD MEMBER

Throughout my life, helping others has been an integral part of who I am. I grew up in Redding, and I’m proud to have the opportunity to help those in my hometown reach their goals. The bond that I have with my community is very important to me, and this is why I chose to become a member of Girls Inc. NSV. The desire I have to help support young ladies grow into strong, confident, and prosperous women will always be of high significance for me.

I was a successful business owner in the cosmetology industry for 25 years, creating over a 250 person clientele before I perused my degree in business administration/management, and then moving on to a career in finance.

I currently hold the Securities Industry Essentials, series 7, series 63, series 65 and California Life, accident & health insurance licenses.

I have three amazing sons, and two beautiful bonus daughters. We love to take advantage of our surrounding mountains and lakes by hiking, skiing, swimming, and biking. I’m involved with a Business Networking International chapter, and help my husband's Rotary chapter when needed. It feels great to be involved with my community, and I look forward to continuing to support it in all the ways that I can.
